Ordering with DV Medical Supply

For four decades, DV Medical Supply has served as an authorized drug and medical supply distributor. In addition, DV Medical Supply works with drug prescribers to help them utilize electronic services that streamline the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration process.

Doctors and other drug prescribers traditionally use DEA paper form 222 when they register as a Schedule I or Schedule II provider with dispensaries. Prescribers who wish to send only Schedule II electronic prescriptions through the DEA’s Controlled Substance Ordering System, however, have the option of submitting these authorizations without filing the paper form.

For doctors who have used only paper copies, the first part of the process involves applying for a digital certificate from the DEA. The approval process can take a month to six weeks.

Once approved, the prescriber will receive a copy of the new certificate. At that point, the prescriber can contact DV Medical Supply to receive login credentials and begin ordering.

Norbrook Shows Another Year of Growth

In business for nearly 40 years, DV Medical Supply is a family-owned-and-operated business that specializes in affordable generic drugs and medical supplies. In its business, DV Medical Supply works with several pharmaceutical companies, including Norbrook Laboratories.

Earlier this year, Norbrook revealed its yearly earnings for the 2015-2016 fiscal year that showed an 11 percent revenue increase over the prior year and a total profit of 38.5 million euros. The company ascribed the growth to natural increases in sales to meet demand as well as efforts to bring five new products to market, leading to gains in both the United States and Europe.

Norbrook CEO Liam Eagle expressed satisfaction at another year of sustained growth for the company, with revenue increases in all its regions of influence. Specifically, Eagle looked to the EU and North American markets as the strongest successes, with new products contributing significantly to the company’s increased performance.
